Where can I buy really small figurines?

Posted by admin on March 3rd, 2010 and filed under figurines | 6 Comments »

I want to buy really small figurines. Where can i buy ones that are about 1/2 inch tall? If there is such a thing. Thx for all answers.

What kind of figurines and for what? There are miniatures of lots of things.Try a hobby store, like Hobby Bench, if you have them where you live. Look up miniature collectors either on line or in the phone book. There are even miniature clubs around. Good Luck!

The Wonder – Figurines

promotional video – This crazy video was made by Trine Omø. The video features a lot of weird scenes that might seem disturbing to some people. Some of our friends are filling in as us in the video, they are: Rune Hedemann (Torpedoes) as Christian Hjelm, Anders Hald (also Torpedoes) as Kristian Volden, Johannes Gammelby (I Am Bones) as Claus Salling Johansen, and Mr Q (Tiger Tunes) as Andreas Toft.

Collectable Figurines, may have only been available in Australia. What were they called?

Posted by admin on March 1st, 2010 and filed under figurines | 1 Comment »

About 15 years ago, I cant quite remember, I used to collect these little baby figurines, they were small and solid and came in black and white.
They had different actions or facial experessions, and had a tiny piece of fluro cloth for clothes or nappies.

They used to come in pink or blue striped plastic packets, you could get them from target or toy world i think.

Does anybody know the name of these babies?

They are called Red Rose Tea dolls, and figurines. They don’t make them any more. They are pretty rare and hard to find, and ones that can be find are worth a lot of dough. I have about 6 of them in my collection. I’m saving them for when I need a small fortune.

I finally got all my Smurf figurings and plushes that I have ordered two weeks ago and edited together all the videos of me opening each package as they came. I didn’t realize I recorded so much until I put all the videos together, over 18 minutes of footage. I managed to edit everything down to around 8:43, just about half the size. Hope you enjoy. Is it possible to get custom-made Willow Tree figurines made?

Posted by admin on February 25th, 2010 and filed under figurines | 1 Comment »

I really would like to get some Willow Tree figurines for my mom but I was looking on the site and couldn’t find what I want and it doesn’t say anything anywhere about having things custom made.
If I can’t is there any other place similar you know about that could custom make some figurines?

Does any one know a good web site that will tell you how much antique figurines are roughly worth?

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2010 and filed under figurines | 1 Comment »

I have a pair of what I think are German/ Dresden figurines, but I can’t seem to find similar ones on the internet so that I can make a comparison. The figurines were left to me by my Grandmother, but I think I might try and sell them.

I am an Antique Dealer and I use:

http://www.kovels.com

Click on the price guide button. Not only are the Dresden Figurines highly collectible, so are Hummel.

Any Iron Skillet or muffin pan needs to looked at also. The bottom will say Griswold. Eerie, PA, If you find those they are very valuable.
